Eurasia City Fair

Organized for the first time this year with the aim of establishing safe, accessible and warmer cities of the future within REED TÜYAP, the "Eurasia City Fair" was opened at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.

The fair hosts a total of 68 participating companies, including 42 urban decorations, 9 urban vehicles, 8 urban technologies, and IMM affiliate companies.

Municipalities, construction companies, landscape architects, city planners and engineers from various provinces participate in the fair, where all the needs of the city from sports, entertainment, vehicle technology, infrastructure and recycling, as well as urban decoration, are gathered under the same roof.

International Brand Cities Summit

On the other hand, "International Brand Cities Summit" was held simultaneously with the fair.

In his speech at the opening of the summit, Tahir Akyürek said that he has been the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality for more than 12 years, but he continues to learn new things every day and to apply them in his city.

Akyürek, who advised his mayor friends to act in this direction, said that if they have a perspective such as "we have implemented so many mega projects", they cannot become a brand city.

Emphasizing that if the brand wants to become a city or a world city, and if it is desired to break new ground in the field of urbanism and to be a source for new applications, Akyürek continued his words as follows:

"We are very wasteful in consuming concepts in the 21st century. We use many important concepts and throw them aside. Brand city should not be like this either. If we continue with applications that only take place in expressions and something is done in this direction, we will also consume the concept of brand city.
